1. What are Classified Ads and Why do you say FREE? Up
The Graphics Equipment Mart Classified Ads facility makes it possible for Prepress and Printing Industry Specialists to post notices, in the form of information and images, about products and services. Typically, this will include items, both old and new, which are being offered for sale.

We operate on a commission basis to facilitate sales opportunities for sellers. Any dealer, private company or individual can advertise free of charge. Our fees are based on the selling price:

SELLING FEES: $1 to $15000 - 10% over $15,000 - + 3% on balance over FINDER FEES: $1 to $15000 - 5% over $15,000 - + 1.5% on balance over

When we find buyer, we will introduce to the sellor after our commision has been tranferred to our escrow account. If deal is not consumated we will return within 48 hours of notifcation your commission deposit. We also can offer contract based ads for dealers on a fee base with no selling commision write us or call for details info@graphicsequipmentmart.com. Most advertising media charge fees in advance for ads our marketing strategy is to charge upon completion of a sale instead. We are like any other ad media, placing ads for clients. We are not responsible for the accuracy of ads and make no representations about the ads placed.

2. How do I post a Classified Ad? Up

To begin the process of adding your Classified Ad, you must first decide into which category it will be placed. to do this, simply visit the Classifieds page and make your selection from any of the currently available categories.

If, for example, you wish to sell an item, you should select the Items for Sale category. Once you have selected your category, proceed by clicking the link near the top-right of the page entitled Post New Ad.

This will present you with a new page where you will be asked to provide information about your product or service. If you wish, you may also choose to upload a number of appropriate images.

During the process of posting your Classified Ad you will be asked to provide a password. Please ensure that you write down this password in case you are required to edit your entry at a later date.

3. How do I add images to my Ad'? Up

You may add up to 6 images - though typically only one will suffice. Additional, you may also add a small thumbnail or preview image, which appears next to your entry whenever it appears in an index or list.

Proceed as follows:

When placing or editing your add, click the "Browse" button - which is located next to the box marked "Photo 1". This will enable you to browse your hard-drive for the required image.

Once you have selected the first image, you may repeat the process for subsequent photos and/or the preview photo.

NB: The maximum combined size of your images must not exceed 500kb. Your preview image must be no bigger than 80kb. If the permitted size is exceeded, your images will be refused.

4. I've posted my Classified Ad - so where is it? Up

Unfortunately, some of our more mischeivous guests may be tempted to use the Classified Ads facility to post text and images most of us would rather not see! For this reason, each Ad is carefully vetted to ensure the content is suitable for the site. This process is manual and it may take several hours before your Ad is given the "all clear". We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but trust you will accept that the process is unavoidable.

5. How long does my Classified Ad remain visible? Up

Once posted your Classified Ad will remain visible for up to 90 days (3 months). At the end of this period it will automatically disappear. You are, of course, welcome to re-list the item.

6. How do I edit my Ad? Up

Once you have posted your Ad it is still possible to edit the information.

To begin with, you must revisit the category in which you posted your Ad. Once you have navigated to the correct category, select the Edit Ad link - which will be found at the top-right of every category page.

Clicking on the link will present you with a new page where you will be asked to provide your Password and the ID# of your Ad. After filling-in the appropriate fields, simply select the Edit option and press the Submit button. You will then proceed to a page where you will be able to edit your entry.

7. What do the different categories mean? Up

Before listing an item you must choose a category:

PREPRESS EQUIPMENT or PRINTING & BINDERY EQUIPMENT are the general category for all items being offered for sale.

EQUIPMENT WANTED is where you post appeals for items which you are trying to locate

8. If I see an item I like, how do I proceed? Up

Your first step should be to make contact with us via the e-mail address which can be found on the same page as the Ad see below example.

9. My Classified Ad is no-longer required - how do I remove it? Up

To remove your Ad you must re-visit the category into which it was placed.
Once you have navigated to the correct category, select the Edit Ad link - which can be found towards the top-right of every category page. Clicking on the link will present you with a new page where you will be asked to provide your Password and the ID# of your Ad.

Assuming you are able to provide this information, you need only select the Delete option and then press Submit to completely remove all traces of your Ad.

10. A Condition of use is auto subscription to newsletter Up

As a condition of use of either the ad services as a buyer or seller is a auto subscription to our newsletter. If you do not want our newsletter please do not use our services. You can unsubscribe from the newletter at any time.Should you re-use our services you again will be auto subscribed to the newsletter.
