1. What printers can be used?

Different printers use different inks. E-bon currently manufactures water-based dye, water based pigment, solvent 　　pigment, eco-solvent pigment, and light-ecosolvent pigment inks. So far the list of confirmed printers suitable for 　using E-bon inks is shown below, however it may not be limited to this list. If you have a printer that is not listed, 　please contact us and we will do our best to find out.

2. Will using Compatible or Remanufactured Cartridges void the warranty of my printers?

The manufacturers and sales outlets try as much as they can to discourage refilling. When you purchase from E-　bon, no warranty is voided. Some even imply that using refill kits or cartridges other than originals will void the 　warranty. NOT TRUE. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and general principles of the Federal Trade 　Commission Act, a manufacturer may not require the use of any brand of ink (or any other article) unless the 　manufacturer provides the item free of charge under the terms of the warranty.

3. Until now I have used original inks in cartridges. Can I now use E-bon ink?

Of course! The E-bon Starter Kit is especially designed for allowing any user to easily improve from their original ink system to E-bon inks. Everything that is needed for this upgrade proceedure is included in the package.

4. How can my printer be adapted to using E-bon inks?

Adapting your printer to using E-bon inks is not very difficult at all. Before using E-bon inks, it is important to flush the old ink from all tubes and print head. Then replace a new damper for each color. Insert new cartridges with E-bon ink into your printer according to the right color slots and it is ready to print.

5. My printer is not mentioned in the web site or these FAQs. Can I still use E-bon inks?

It should always be possible to use E-bon inks if your printer has Epson 10000 print heads. Remember that E-bon inks are aqueous inks developed for large-format inkjet printers. Under certain circumstances it may be possible to use them in solvent printers (Roland Soljet 1000, Mimaki JV3 and similar). Please test the suitability of E-bon inks for these printers carefully or speak to us first.

6. How do E-bon inks differ from other sublimation inks?

E-bon inks has many advantages, for example:
Consistent product quality, very good running properties in high-speed printers, long shelf life, outstanding contour definition and brilliance, minimal fuming during transfer.

7. Can E-bon Cleaner also remove other kinds of dirt?

You can easily buy E-bon Cleaner from the web site. You should check whether E-bon Cleaner can solve your particular problem.

8. Can I also print directly on to the fabric with E-bon inks?

E-bon inks were developed for transfer printing. Direct printing on polyester fabric is possible under certain conditions. However, a specially prepared fabric and a suitable printer with a fabric guiding system are required. Contact us if you have any questions.

9. What transfer papers can be used?

In principle, all commercial inkjet transfer papers from well-known companies. In addition, E-bon inks also seems to be suitable for traditional transfer papers. However, the customer must first test these in each specific case.

10. Can E-bon inks be purchased directly in large quantities?
